2-Day Advanced Nail Technician Intensive
Take your technical skills to the next level with two full days of intensive, hands-on advanced education designed specifically for experienced, certified nail technicians.
This course goes beyond standard structure and troubleshooting. You'll develop a deeper understanding of nail architecture, learn how to approach challenging nail structures and growth patterns, and build the skills to diagnose, correct and prevent common service problems.
With two full days of practical training, there is time to not only understand what needs correcting, but why problems occur and how to adapt your technique for different clients.
Day 1 – Advanced Structure, Architecture & Precision
- Advanced nail architecture and stress-area analysis
- Apex placement for different nail lengths and shapes
- C-curve, barrel view, sidewall and lower-arch assessment
- Working with upward, downward and uneven natural nail growth
- Advanced product placement and controlling unnecessary bulk
- Shape, symmetry and structural refinement
- Advanced filing and refining techniques
- Recognizing structural weaknesses before service breakdown occurs
- Hands-on application with individual educator feedback
Day 2 – Troubleshooting, Rebalancing & Corrective Techniques
- Advanced lifting diagnosis and identifying likely causes
- Troubleshooting cracking, breakage and service breakdown
- Fills and advanced rebalancing
- Correcting grown-out or poorly structured enhancements
- Repairs and reconstruction of damaged areas
- Working with challenging and irregular natural nail shapes
- Knowing when to repair, rebalance or safely remove
- Corrective filing while preserving existing structure where appropriate
- Improving service efficiency, consistency and finish
- Real-world salon troubleshooting scenarios
- Final hands-on practical application combining techniques from both days
Prerequisite: Students must already hold a recognized nail technician certification or equivalent professional training.
